Well, I changed the journal name. I like this name much better than the previous "ghostfungus."

Why Quinqueg? Suffice it to say that I've become obsessed with the number five. Not on the level of Gehn, but close. And in a stroke of pure genius or weirdness, I considered that the Latin prefix for five is quinque and also remembered the Moby Dick character Queequeg.

Yeah, it's odd, but I like it. And I really disliked ghostfungus - it didn't roll off the tongue as well.

I've discovered why it might not be best to thumbnail ideas this late at night. I have to draw about twenty thumbnails for a Mardi Gras fundraiser poster for my Imaging and Illustration class. The instructor told us to draw whatever ideas we think of, even if they're not great.

So I just drew a riverboat with a pair of legs. And I had to resist adding a thought bubble reading "I'm late! I'm late!"

Um. Yeah.
