The WALL•E Watch

It's a bit late in the game, but I thought I'd start blogging about the various WALL•E stuff I find around the 'net. Here goes!

There's a new short, with WALL-E this time encountering a floor full of bouncy balls. See also the previous shorts, involving a vacuum cleaner (from the Super Bowl ad), a magnet, a hula hoop, and a pair of headphones. [via /film]

TeamXbox has a hands-on preview of the WALL•E video game for the Xbox 360. From their look, it sounds like it may actually be a decent movie-based video game. The release date is set for June 24.[via Upcoming Pixar]

An animatronic WALL•E has been making the rounds, including the streets of L.A., at the the Philadelphia Science Museum, and most recently on a local news morning show. [via Upcoming Pixar]

Thinkway Toys has a list of all its WALL•E toys. It looks like what some people were calling the "Ultimate Wall-E" is officially called the "U-Command WALL•E", which you can get from Toys'R'Us for a mere $40.

I still don't have the art book that I preordered from Amazon, even though it's already been released. Gragh.

I have no idea what's up with the art book deal. I pre-ordered, too, but ended up cancelling a few weeks after they said they didn't have it. Jerks. I also tried an eBay seller, but while they said they shipped it, it never arrived via UPS like they said it would and at least the seller gave me a refund. :| I have checked my local Barnes and Nobel, no luck. The Barnes and Nobel website says they have it, but I'm not so sure. They also have authorized sellers on the Barnes and Nobel website that say they have it, but I don't want to take the risk. :\

I'm soooooo getting the U-Command WALL-E. :D My dad saw it at our local Toys 'R' Us, himself. >.>

I actually cancelled my order and then repreordered later after I couldn't find it anywhere else. Amazon says it'll ship on the 10th now, but I'm getting skeptical of their LIES. Especially since the product page still lists an April release date.

I'm so glad the U-Command WALL•E is so cheap. I was afraid it'd end up closer to $180, or however much the remote-control R2D2 was.

Also, it seems I need more WALL•E icons. At least I've got plenty of source material.
