octan and I are collaborating on a project - a comic. We've been tweaking it for a while, but I finally feel we've got something presentable.

On that note, I present to you Kitewinds! Words by me and art by him. Feel free to talk to us about it at kitewinds@gmail.com. I'd really like to hear from people. And of course, we wouldn't mind if you mentioned it to other people, wink-wink-nudge-nudge.

Unless we work out a better schedule, it'll be updating every week on Tuesday and Thursday.

I must say, too, good show coloring Andy; I can hardly tell it from my own work myself. And it makes a rather fitting avatar for you. ;) In retrospect, though, the links to the sections are probably better off being a real font (for some reason I'm thinking Impact, but I'm not sure why).

Other nitpicks: The About title probably ought to be smaller than the main title by maybe 1/3; the Cast link on the homepage leads to About instead of Cast; and the Cast page has no title. I'll send the news page title this week; I was thinking a typewriter-esque lettering style on a newsprint-looking background would look better than the regular title font, partly because of the title you proposed for it ("Off the Presses").

Oh gods no, not Impact! I hate hate hate Impact. I'm pretty certain the road to Hell is paved with cobblestones made out of Impact and Comic Sans MS type samples. On top of the souls of the damned, good intentions, DMV offices, fanfiction, etc. But I'll tweak around with the fonts some more.

I was thinking about the size for the sub-page titles; I'm still trying to figure what looks best. Also, I thought I fixed the problem with the Cast link. Damn. This is a bit tedious. And the cast page has no title mainly because, well, I, er, never got an outline for one. Only got the About, Archives, and Links ones. As for the news page, maybe I can work something out with the old typewriter - it's around here somewhere.
