So, today I was re-reading The Five Fists of Science - this time concentrating more on the art than the story - when I noticed a couple of things.

First up, the acknowledgment page. Aside from the wonderful Arts and Crafts-style decorations, something else caught my eye. Something at the bottom of the box:

RAWK!

Then, after reading through again, I closed the book and glanced at the back cover. Again, something caught my eye (aside from the nifty design).

I think - call it a gut feeling - that Matt Fraction and Steven Sanders are a bit geeky. Call it a hunch.

I would say "a bit" is an understatement. Hidden messages in books convey to "a lot" in my book.

Mart Twain and Nikola Tesla team up to save the world from J.P. Morgan, Thomas Edison and Andrew Carnegie (who just so happen to belong to a demonic cult). Twain and Tesla do this through the use of a steampunk automaton. It's awesome - Tesla also has Tesla-coil pistols. :D

Right. Adding this to my gotta-read-this-someday list. Also there has to be some way to make those OMG/WTF things into a humorous icon, but I'm drawing a blank right now.
