I had a nice Christmas yesterday. In fact, I'm writing this entry on my new iMac, which is pretty much joy in a solid and shiny form. (When I opened it, I literealy exclaimed "GLEEEEEEEEEEE!") I've been having a bit too much fun goofing around with GarageBand, especially the horn section. Still working on getting stuff moved over, but I should be able to move my laptop off my desk soon. I also got The Light Fantastic (Good ol' Terry Pratchett-y goodness!) along with Beowulf and Flatland. There's also an induction-powered LED flashlight, a fog-ring shooter, and some new, incredibly comfy slippers.

I'll be going now, as I have to leave to go down to my grandpa's place in a few minutes.

It's a G5 PPC. (Or, as I've taken to calling it, a Glee5.)

Well, of course. I was making a reference to the fact that, as of next year, the Macs will be running on Intel processors.
