Helpful information: Do not use UPS to ship anything internationally from the US. Use the post office instead. Otherwise, you might end up paying $95 (at the very least) for a small package that the postal service would happily ship for $12.

So, another Christmas come and gone. Well, mostly. We're visiting relatives tomorrow, and I've still got a box of gifts to give that hasn't arrived yet. (DHL apparently thought it would be downright hilarious to lose the package for a few days, then let it just sit around a few more days before delivering it to the USPS.)

This year was a bit stranger than years past, actually. Mainly because everyone had to move into different bedrooms due to significant remodeling in the house. Something that was supposed to be done by now, but isn't looking to get finished until mid-January. Other than that, it was normal, right down to getting a headache slightly before Christmas dinner and all the other traditions.

I don't usually talk about what I received, but I will say that these guys are the best slippers ever.
