Did that cheese just bleat?
Jul. 18th, 2007 08:41 pmTried to make moussaka tonight. It was good, but a bit strange. Probably just because I haven't had eggplant before. There was also the cheese.
See, I used a cheese called Kasseri, which is basically goat/sheep cheese. And I ran into the problem I have with goat cheese. At first, it tastes fine. But as the meal goes on, the less it tastes like cheese. Shortly, it begins to taste as if I were licking the goat. Bleh. And about then I lose my appetite.
Anyway, art fair tomorrow. Fun!
