It's still too early.
Nov. 10th, 2008 01:50 pmRight, I suppose I can post this now that we've gotten our first snow here in NOVEMBER WTF MICHIGAN?
Ahem.
I'll be sending out Christmas cards* this year to anyone who wants them. Leave a comment if you want one!
I will ALSO be making homemade caramels. (Carámels, even!) They are chewy and delicious and chewy and deliciously chewy. Did I mention chewy? They're mostly butter and brown sugar, made according to an old family recipe which might possibly involve a minor summoning of Melthalssian, dark God of premium sweets and High Overseer of the sugar mines in the outerdimensional realm of Blthcpxisan. Or it might not. WHO KNOWS?! *evil laugh*
But seriously folks, they're good!
Anyway, if you want a box of those as well, let me know! I need a bit more of an advance notice on these compared to the cards. Comments will be screened, so you need not fear some stranger lurking about and snatching up your address.
*"But Quin, you're not Christian - how can you be sending Christmas cards?"
"I'm glad you asked! It's real simple - I like giving people stuff. And Christmas is pretty much the Day of Giving Stuff to People, religious or not."
"That didn't completely answer the question."
"I like putting lights and shiny stuff on trees, alright?"
