A battle of wits and wind.
Mar. 14th, 2008 08:03 pmThere was a robin in the yard today - two, in fact. It also got up to 55º in the afternoon. Normally, I would be happy about this, possibly reciting some Tom Lehrer.
But I know better. Oh yes. The pigeons will wait.
You can't fool me, Michigan weather. I know your little game. You'll try and raise spirits with a few days of spring weather. And just when everyone's happy, THWHUMP! we'll get two weeks of snow and ice and gray skies. Well, not this time! I've kept my spirits at dead-of-winter levels, so there's nothing for you to squash back down! Bwahaha!
Bring it on! Just you try and depress me. I won't even notice, you fickle sky-trollop!
Fwehehehe!
