Jan. 30th, 2008 05:00 pmEarlier, I merely thought that headache + lamp falling on head = rubbish afternoon. The bulb falling out and bouncing off my head didn't help either.
I now realize the equation was lacking. It should be: headache + 15°F outside + 30 MPH wind + fire drill = rubbish afternoon. But in some bizarre twist, I'm actually feeling better for it.
On a side note, why the heck would you have a fire drill and only have the hall klaxons going off, instead of every alarm in the building (which would happen during, well, a real fire)? I'm getting a real "cry wolf" feeling about the emergency systems here. :|
...I've been blabbering too much lately, haven't I?
